Program Tips & Guidelines

Your Viator partner site has FOUR header options for your branding.

These options are listed in the Partner Admin under Edit Site => Site Template => Navigation & branding

The BEST way to improve sales conversion is to closely match your Viator Partner site with the look and feel of our website. Using a graphical or HTML header is one way to place your look and feel on your Viator Partner site.

Basic Header Options

Logo (Good) - upload your logo. This will show in the upper Left-hand side of the site template as well as on Vouchers.

Tip: The logo option often results in lower sales conversion for partners compared to a graphical or HTML header (see below).

Graphical Header  (BETTER) - upload a static graphical header. This allows for a better branding of your Partner site if you do not have HTML headers available.

Advanced Options

HTML Headers (BEST) - you can upload your website’s HTML header code. This should only be used if you have SECURE header code (https:) available. If you do not have a secure server please use the HTML-Graphical header option below.

HTML (non-secure)/Graphical (secure) (BEST) - this is a one-step solution if you dont have a Secure Server. You can upload non-secure HTML header code -and- a graphical header which will show on Secure pages only. We highly recommend this solution for Partners who do not have secure HTML code available.

Important: Be sure to select “Save Settings” if you select a new header option. This will activate the option on your Partner site.

Frames - you can frame an un-branded (no header/footer) Viator Partner site. Framing allows you to show your URL in the browser - plus allows you to put branding, ads, or navigation in frames around the Viator site.

Footers (Optional) - you can also upload footer code on your Viator Partner site. Click the Add an HTML Footer and then select Edit.
