Program Tips & Guidelines

Updated 18Nov2009

Viator now offers Spanish (ES), French (FR) and German (DE)  versions of the Partner affiliate sites. These are available for use by new and existing Partners.

Here are some sample sites:

Spanish - http://www.partner.viator.com/es/7599/Barcelona/d562-ttd

French - http://www.partner.viator.com/fr/7600/Barcelona/d562-ttd

German - http://www.partner.viator.com/de/7598/Barcelona/d562-ttd

If you are interested in one of these languages, we offer two options:

Option #1- Switch your -current- Viator English site to Spanish, French or German

For this option, just send us an email to partnersupport@viator.com, with your three or four digit Partner ID and language requested.

Option #2 - Add an additional Viator Partner account in Spanish, French or German

For this option, please register another Viator account (click here). Once you receive your registration email from us, please forward it to partnersupport@viator.com with your desired language.

Example: You have an existing English Viator site, but want to add Spanish and French versions.

Simply register -two- new Viator accounts (click here) — one for Spanish and one for French. Email partnersupport@viator.com the registration confirmation emails with the desired language for each new account.  We will set each account to the applicable language you requested and send you an email confirming the new language setting.

In either option, you must contact Viator to request the language desired, this is not a setting in the registration process or the Partner Admin site. Each language requires its own Viator Account and commission threshold.

Important notes:

- All products are listed, but some may not be fully translated yet

- The Viator homepage will be blank by default. For home page settings info, click here

- Custom Feature page and Widget product listings are in English

- XML Product feeds ARE available in ES/FR/DE via the Partner Admin Site or URL. CSV feeds are coming soon.

- The different languages are not inter-linked to each other, you may want to build a language dropdown in your Viator Header Code and link to each language site if you have more than one.  Example:
